The Tragedy of the Commons | Krypted

The market is not free if it is not free to fail

Excellent words and valuable insight by a colleague. I once heard, during the Clinton administration, from a Cuban immigrant, that he saw America “slouching towards Communism”. If we were slouching then, we’ve downright laid ourselves out prostrate on the floor with the current administration’s actions. Take a look at the post by Charles. What do you think?

The Instant Message Challenge | Tony Steward:. Blog

I like this. Thanks for the challenge, Tony.

Facebook, AIM, Google, Tokbox, Skype, Yahoo, MSN, IRC, Meebo and more all give you the ability to carry on conversation in real time with people from all over the world. I bet you didn’t even realize that you were also using a tool that allows you to pray for those people all over the world. Thats right, sitting right at the bottom of Facebook is a tool that allows you to pray for your friends, peers, online connections and old prom dates. Amazing technology that we take for granted – well not anymore!

Gone With the Wind – The Fox Theatre – Atlanta

Gone With the WindMy wife loves Gone With the Wind. I think most “GRITS” do. For those not in the know, apparently that’s what they call an acronym and it stands for “Girls Raised in the South”. This year is the 70th anniversary of the opening of the film and to commemorate, the fabulous Fox Theater here in Atlanta is having a special showing of the film. I haven’t told Steph about it yet, but I’ve gotten tickets and am going to surprise her with a romantic gesture. I know. Some of you are wondering how she’ll be surprised if I’m posting it here, but I’m having a little fun as she very rarely reads the ole blog here. She pretty much sticks to Facebook and all the updates she can get there. And if she does surprise me and read it here, then “Surprise, honey!!” I look forward to a fun time with you watching your favorite movie.

Snow Storm 2009

So here are a few pictures from Snow Storm 2009. We had fun playing out in it as a family.

So today is Saturday, and that means haircuts. Well, Eli and I got ours done a couple of weeks ago and Neal was upset that he didn’t get his. Daddy told him we’d go this coming Saturday. Daddy’s realizing his boy is growing up. He sat so still and acted like he’s been doing this for years. I’m so proud to have him as my son.
